Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport, a Tanzalight Safaris representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha.

After check-in, spend the rest of the day relaxing after your flight. Enjoy the hotel’s peaceful atmosphere, take a swim, or simply unwind before your safari adventure begins. In the evening, enjoy dinner and prepare for the exciting days ahead.

After breakfast, meet your private safari guide and drive approximately two hours to Tarangire National Park.

Famous for its ancient baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers incredible wildlife viewing in a beautiful and less crowded setting.
During your game drive, look out for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, and many colorful bird species while your guide shares fascinating stories about the park.

Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by nature before continuing your afternoon safari. Later, arrive at your luxury lodge where you can relax, enjoy a delicious dinner, and watch the African sunset.

After breakfast, travel through the beautiful Ngorongoro Conservation Area on your way to the world-famous Serengeti National Park.

As you enter the endless plains of the Serengeti, your safari begins immediately. Search for lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, and large herds of zebras and wildebeests while enjoying one of Africa’s most spectacular landscapes.

After a picnic lunch, continue your game drive before arriving at your luxury tented camp. Relax around the camp and enjoy dinner under the African sky as the sounds of the wilderness surround you

Today takes you to Northern Serengeti, home to the famous Mara River and one of nature’s greatest wildlife spectacles.

Between July and October, thousands of wildebeests and zebras gather at the river before making their dramatic crossing while crocodiles wait below and predators watch from nearby. Your guide will take you to the best locations for an opportunity to witness this unforgettable event.

Even when the migration is moving, Northern Serengeti offers exceptional wildlife viewing with lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, and many other animals.

Later, arrive at your luxury camp for dinner and another peaceful night in the heart of the Serengeti.

Start the day with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active and the soft morning light creates perfect photography conditions.

After breakfast, enjoy another game drive as you make your way back toward Central Serengeti. Every journey across these endless plains offers new wildlife encounters, from elephant families and graceful giraffes to lions resting on rocky kopjes and cheetahs scanning the open grasslands.

Arrive at your luxury tented camp in the afternoon and spend the evening relaxing before your final full day of safari comes to an end

After breakfast, leave the Serengeti and travel toward the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Along the way, visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about one of East Africa’s most famous cultures. You’ll also stop at Olduvai Gorge, one of the world’s most important archaeological sites, often known as the “Cradle of Mankind.”

Descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for your final game drive. Home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, the crater offers excellent opportunities to see elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, hyenas, and the rare black rhino.

After a picnic lunch, return to Arusha, where you’ll be transferred to your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight
