Sample Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Your private safari guide will pick you up from your hotel or airport in Arusha before beginning the scenic 2 to 2.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park.
Upon arrival, enjoy a freshly prepared bush breakfast at the Tarangire River Picnic Site, where elephants, giraffes, zebras, and colourful birds are often seen nearby. Continue your exciting game drive through the park as you search for lions, buffaloes, wildebeests, impalas, warthogs, ostriches, and Tarangire’s famous elephant herds.
Around midday, relax with a delicious bush lunch before continuing your afternoon safari. Later, leave the park and enjoy the 1-hour drive to Karatu for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 2: Karatu – Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha
After breakfast, enjoy a short 30-minute drive to Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic wildlife destinations. Explore lush groundwater forests, open plains, and the beautiful lakeshore while searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, playful baboons, blue monkeys, and the park’s famous tree-climbing lions.
Later, enjoy a relaxing bush lunch at the Lake Manyara Picnic Site, where you can admire the peaceful surroundings before continuing your afternoon game drive. Along the lakeshore, you may also see thousands of flamingos, pelicans, storks, and many other water birds.
In the late afternoon, begin the scenic 2 to 2.5-hour drive back to Arusha, bringing your memorable Tanzania safari to a close.
