Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from Arusha before the 2–2.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park.

Upon arrival, enjoy a bush breakfast before starting your game drive through this beautiful park. Search for large elephant herds gathering around the Tarangire River, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, warthogs, and colourful bird species.

Enjoy a bush lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon exploration. Later, drive approximately 1 hour to Karatu for dinner and relaxation.

Wake up early and drive approximately 30 minutes to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Descend into the crater floor and enjoy a full game drive inside this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore one of Africa’s most unique wildlife areas, where you may encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, black rhinos, hippos, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, and flamingos.

Enjoy a bush lunch inside the crater before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, ascend from the crater and return approximately 30 minutes to Karatu for your overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive approximately 30 minutes to Lake Manyara National Park.

Explore the park’s beautiful forests, open plains, and lakeshore areas while searching for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, baboons, flamingos, and the famous tree-climbing lions.

Enjoy a bush lunch inside the park before your final game drive. Later, begin the approximately 2–2.5-hour drive back to Arusha, ending your safari with unforgettable memories.

Enkutoto Migration Camp is a luxury mobile safari camp that moves across the Serengeti to follow the Great Wildebeest Migration.
