Day 1: Arusha – Serengeti National Park

Your adventure begins early in the morning as your private safari guide picks you up from your hotel in Arusha. Enjoy a scenic drive of approximately 6–7 hours through the beautiful landscapes of Tanzania, passing the Great Rift Valley and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before reaching Serengeti National Park.

As you enter the Serengeti, your safari begins with a game drive through the endless plains. Search for lions resting on rocky kopjes, elephants moving across the savannah, giraffes feeding on acacia trees, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and other wildlife before arriving at your camp.

Wake up surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness and enjoy a full-day exploration of Serengeti National Park, one of the world’s most famous wildlife destinations.

Your guide will take you through different areas of the park in search of incredible wildlife encounters. Depending on the season and location, you may witness the Great Migration herds of wildebeests and zebras, large lion prides, cheetahs hunting across the open plains, leopards resting in trees, elephants, giraffes, hippos, hyenas, and countless bird species.

Enjoy a memorable bush lunch in the Serengeti wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive. As the sun sets over the plains, return to your tented camp for dinner and relaxation.

Enjoy your final morning game drive in Serengeti before beginning your journey back to Arusha.

Tukaone Hembe Camp

Tukaone Hembe Camp is a luxury tented safari camp located in the heart of Serengeti National Park, Tanzania, overlooking the beautiful Hembe Hills and the endless Serengeti plains. Its prime location offers excellent year-round wildlife viewing, making it an ideal base for exploring one of Africa’s most famous safari destinations.

The camp features 15 spacious canvas tents, including double, twin, triple, family, and honeymoon rooms. Each tent is equipped with comfortable beds, en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold showers, flush toilets, wash basins, and a private veranda where you can relax while enjoying views of the surrounding wilderness.

Enkutoto Migration Camp

Enkutoto Migration Camp is a luxury mobile safari camp that moves across the Serengeti to follow the Great Wildebeest Migration. This gives you the chance to experience one of the world’s greatest wildlife events from the best locations. Depending on the time of year, you can watch the famous Mara River crossings in the northern Serengeti or see thousands of wildebeest calves born during the calving season in the south.

The camp has 25 spacious and comfortable safari tents, including Family Tents that are perfect for families and a Honeymoon Tent designed for couples. From June to October, the camp is based in Kogatende in the northern Serengeti, giving you easy access to the exciting Mara River crossings. From November to March, the camp moves to Ndutu in the southern Serengeti, where you can witness the incredible wildebeest calving season.
