Sample Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

Depart Arusha in the morning for the approximately 2–2.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park.

Enjoy a game drive searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, and many bird species. After a bush lunch inside the park, continue your afternoon exploration before driving approximately 1 hour to Karatu for your overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart Karatu and travel toward Serengeti through the beautiful Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

The journey takes approximately 4–5 hours, with wildlife viewing along the way. Enter Serengeti and enjoy your first game drive across the endless plains, searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and other wildlife.

Enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti before beginning your journey back to Arusha.

Your last safari moments may include encounters with lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife before leaving the park. Drive approximately 6–7 hours back to Arusha, arriving in the evening after an unforgettable short safari adventure.
