Morning: Drive from Arusha | Moshi & Lake Manyara Exploration

Your guide will pick you up from your location Whether Arusha or Moshi at around 7:00 AM before starting the scenic 2–2.5-hour drive to Lake Manyara National Park.

After entering the park, drive through the beautiful groundwater forest where you may see large troops of baboons, blue monkeys, elephants moving between the trees, and colourful birds including hornbills and kingfishers.

Continue to the Lake Manyara Picnic Site, where you will enjoy a peaceful bush breakfast overlooking the lake and surrounding landscapes. From this beautiful location, you can admire views of the Great Rift Valley while listening to the sounds of nature.

Continue your game drive through the different habitats of Lake Manyara, searching for giraffes walking through the woodland, zebras and wildebeests grazing on the plains, buffaloes near the water, hippos cooling in the lake, and flamingos gathering along the shoreline.

Enjoy your bush lunch at the Lake Manyara Picnic Site, where you can relax surrounded by forest, lake views, and the sounds of birds. This peaceful setting offers a perfect break before continuing your afternoon exploration.

After lunch, visit different areas of the park in search of more wildlife, including the famous tree-climbing lions that make Lake Manyara unique.

Enjoy your final game drive during the beautiful afternoon hours when wildlife becomes more active. Capture your last photographs of elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, flamingos, and the stunning scenery of Lake Manyara.

Later, leave the park and begin the 2–2.5-hour drive back to Arusha, arriving in the evening after a memorable day discovering one of Tanzania’s most diverse national parks.

Enkutoto Migration Camp

Enkutoto Migration Camp is a luxury mobile safari camp that moves across the Serengeti to follow the Great Wildebeest Migration. This gives you the chance to experience one of the world’s greatest wildlife events from the best locations. Depending on the time of year, you can watch the famous Mara River crossings in the northern Serengeti or see thousands of wildebeest calves born during the calving season in the south.

The camp has 25 spacious and comfortable safari tents, including Family Tents that are perfect for families and a Honeymoon Tent designed for couples. From June to October, the camp is based in Kogatende in the northern Serengeti, giving you easy access to the exciting Mara River crossings. From November to March, the camp moves to Ndutu in the southern Serengeti, where you can witness the incredible wildebeest calving season.
